Dark Side of the Moon
So 40 years after the release of this classic, some dude remade the entire album using an 8 bit Nintendo synthesizer. The results are…well, I’d call it an early-mid-pre-post-postmodern classic. I’m sure you’ll all have your own favorite parts, but or me, because I’m silly, the highlight is the rendering of the footsteps at the beginning of On the Run, a little after four minutes in. Check this sh*t out.

I totally got kicked out of a movie theater for bringing in a boombox with DSOTM so I could try to sink it up with the new Oz movie.

@complicatedlight - Oh! Thank you for the recommendation and for explaining “cumulus clouds” to me! I was actually still thinking about it this whole time and the closest I got to an answer was, “Oh no…was it because I was too lazy to put Walnut’s ‘Negligence! NEGLIGENCE!’ thoughts in a cloud?!” I know that sounds totally out there, but I’ve actually been called out for not using comic bubbles correctly. :-/ Your explanation, however, makes me feel a lot better now!
