From scratch? Or from boards you bought? hehehe… I can say that because I have huge cherry tree limbs in the driveway that are going to become the next bed at our house. Looks good
wanna make one for me? I promise I won’t use it for books.
I have more bookcases than furniture now…and none have gone wanting. You are going to love it and everytime you put a book on it you are going to think, ‘I made that’
*throws sawdust up in the air* Hip hip hooray!
Nice! I like the color. Can I have it?
Now fill ‘er up!
Good for you! Looks like oak plywood for the back. The shelves look like birch, from the color.
Surfing around seen then, came to comment on the nice work on the book shelf
Wow, that looks niiiiice! Bet it will be filled in no time.
Excellent craftsmanship! I’m assuming the books are waiting to go on, but I’m always curious as to what people do with that top shelf. Are you leaving it vacant or littering it with trophies and urns (used or unused)? You can learn a lot about someone by what knickknacks they prominently display.
wow cool!!!
good job
that is a lovely bookcase. This appears to be an original work of art, both re: carpentry AND blog-posting.
