i don’t mind obama, but i could care less about politics, ya dig?
man, he can throw that ball across the plate hard and make it look so easy. team work will get us there, he drove that home. i liked his strong stance, that he’ll do it himself this time if they keep refusing to work with him. he didn’t *say* that, but the implication was massive score.

@complicatedlight maybe. i’d rather not register to vote though. i don’t want jury duty as selfish as that sounds, i’d rather pay a fine… or go to jail.

@superbowlhero - haha because of your username i have to point out the NFL Players Union has spoken out in solidarity against Indiana republican governor Mitch Daniels on his attempt to bash the right of teachers and by extension police and firefighters’ right to collective bargaining. i noted Daniels didn’t address the parts of the President’s speech pertaining to teachers or veterans getting police and firefighter’s jobs.

i particularly liked how he whispered to Secretaries of State and Defense “good job tonight ” right before he went to speak….i wondered what it was, rewinded the clip several times to catch the wink and tough guy smile…turns out it was a daring commando rescue raid in Somalia! The hostages were in helicopters on their way back to base…
they cant touch him foreign policy.

Fortunately a friend came over last night so I could get out all my post-SOTU bile without my fingers on a keyboard.
This is the first time in a verry long time that I have seen more positives than negatives on Obama. I’ve been sitting in the wrong row of seats.. People get horribly anxious and they start looking like they will rip your lip off if you oppose their opinions.

@kaiori - yeah, i hear the occasional report about the harper government and it sounds pretty awful. of course as you recall we get our share too. these days it seems everyone is.
