@an_OM_aly - exactly! the angle of the sun this time of year gives some beautiful reflections off flat, shiny surfaces. it’s amazing how difficult they are to capture on film. something about limited dynamic range…
@be_the_rain - yay thrasher! go saints! on the other hand, aside from womens’ basketball (season is over) this ain’t the year to be a sports fan up here. :
@complicatedlight - you think it’s because brett is gone? i was thinking about that yesterday.
@be_the_rain - yes. but more than just him leaving. it’s more the psychology of the entire brett story with us, from his past with the packers, to his free agency, to us finally picking him up…followed by the inevitable (if drawn out) conclusion. and then the choice of mcnabb. it’s something about the whole management philosophy here.
@complicatedlight - it cycling again. i sorta feel it’s the viks’ turn soon. had my bets on adrian peterson being the strong psychological factor, but yes, usually it is about the quarterback. what goes to show is, it doesn’t take a brand, shiny-new stadium to win.
This photo is so very, very good.
h. (P.S. – Hello, Phil!)
cool! has a nice feel to it
the hardscape’s beautiful… the way the sun bathed the buildings…
@tribong_upos - it really is. it changes throughout the year too, and i’ve grown somewhat familiar with the specific light we get during specific months. “hey, there’s that shadow crossing the…and the sunlight is reflecting off the museum, just so. i wonder if…oh yeah, it’s october again!”
